  • For international students outside India, we recommend you to book your tickets to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, which is located 240 km from Rishikesh town. After that, the simplest is to take a domestic flight from New Delhi to Dehradun airport. We will organize your transfer to our ashram.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport in New Delhi to the ashram. This will take you 4 to 7 hours depending on traffic and should cost no more than 60 USD.

  • Depending on where you are from, you will need to get a visa to come to India. We recommend you check out the rules for india on your country embassy website.

Most foreign citizens can easily apply for an e-visa here: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html

Most of our teachers are natives Indians or have studied Yoga in Inida and all over the world and all our courses are translated in French.

Satya Yoga Ashram is a community, we become a family and always stay in touch after trainings to guide each others on this transformative path.

  • The content of the course is the same as we follow the Yoga Alliance guidelines, so you will have the same classes and both trainings are translated in French.

    The environment is different,

as in India, in Rishikesh, you will find yourself adapting to this new culture and changes (climate, food, travel...) you'll be immersed in a new cultural environment, and in this powerful place where ancient yogis were doing their sadhanas. A good opportunity for you to discover a new culture, the roots of Yoga, visit temples, have a deeper understanding of where Yoga comes from, open your mind and work on acceptance.

Otherwise, our ashram in the south of France in Avignon, is a piece of heaven, in a middle of nature surrounded by greenery and little typical villages of France with lavender fields. You will be totally immersed in a peaceful environment and community propice to your learning and practice.

Either you choose to join us in India or in France, the transformation will happen during this weeks of learning Yoga at Satya Yoga Ashram.

  • During the training you will have alignment and adjustment classes during which you will get a deeper understanding of asanas and learn how to guide your students through the postures. During methodology classes you will learn how to build different kind of sequences.

You will also have the opportunity to teach your fist class to others students during the training, to practice your teaching skills.

After certification, you'll be able to register yourself on Yoga Alliance website if needed, and your teaching journey can begin !
